We get this question a lot. But we promise it's a lot simpler than you might think with Raynor Services

Where Do I Start?

This is NOT a DIY project. A certified Kohler dealer will come to your home and help chose the right sized generator, fuel source and installation locations.

  1. A Trained Technician will install your transfer switch
  2. Once installed, the team will move your generator in place.
  3. Electric lines will be connected from your transfer switch to your generator
  4. With Electric hooked up-your pipefitter will make proper connections from the fuel source to the generator
  5. Now that electric and fuel is hooked up, your generator is ready to start protecting you and your family!

What's Involved?

Installation costs will vary significantly from home to home due to the ease or difficulty of installing your fuel source (propane or natural gas).

A trained, Raynor technician will do a site survey to give you an upfront, honest quote.

Why Raynor Services?

What are the Advantages of a Standby Generator?

  1. Cost: Automatic standby generators run on natural gas and liquid propane. As a result, they cost a lot less to operate than portable generators, which run on gasoline.
  2. Convenience: One thing that makes standby generators stand out amongst the rest of the pack is that they can be installed outdoors. With this functionality, you’ll be able to free up floor space inside of your home by using a standby generator. Continuing, because standby generators automatically switch off when the utility grid turns back on, you will not have to worry about monitoring your standby generator. Standby generators are highly efficient because they work for you, which cannot necessarily be said about portable generators.
  3. Safety: Standby generators are much safer than portable generators because portable generators are more likely to emit carbon monoxide gases.
